DEMO 1
After getting LOTS of good feedback and advice, the Demo 1 version of TSG is finally here and here's all the changes (as far as i remember):
* A renewed input system, supporting both PlayStation and Xbox controllers as well as the UI adapting to each layout
* Buffed up the speed of the character
* The shooting demons are now easier to notice
* A new, dynamic HUD
* All the glitchy shaders removed (it was to match the game jam version's theme)
* New DualSense section of Controls tab
* The "Quit" button on the pause menu repurposed to get you to the main menu
* New way of navigating through the main menu
* The main menu is now dark
* Fixed a bug where the shooting demon would shoot erratically, now it always shoots 3 projectiles after 1 second
* New enemy: "the eye". It will one-shot you after 4 seconds of being on its' sight
* New Stomp mechanic, create a shockwave to kill the enemies around you
* Haptic feedback for killing enemies
* A thinner, more balanced outline shader
* Outline shader applied to the humans for better visuals
* You can now jump with both shoulder buttons on your controller as well
* Steam deck supported
* New level: Aeterna
* New cutscene
* New soundtrack
* New UI elements: Dash and Stomp meters for enchansed user experience
* A jump pad had been added to the game
* The remaining demon counter now has a slight bounce to it for enchanced user experience
